Calling All Knitters and Crocheters!

Newborn sleeping with knit cap onOur hospitals are looking for volunteers to knit or crochet hats for our newborns. The SeniorHealth office is getting the information on the pattern, yarn, and needle/hook sizes.

Please contact the SeniorHealth office at 757-217-0330 to let us know you would like to be part of the Infant Hat Group. If you would like to get together to knit or crochet the hats, the Club 60 dates and times would be perfect.

If you’re not quite proficient in the art of knitting or crocheting, we will also accept donations of yarn. Yarn should be made out of cotton or acrylic, medium weight, machine washable, and dryable. Bows and buttons are not recommended due to safety concerns.
